Students and Parents Invited to
Attend Career EXPO 2005 at Forest View Educational Center

Career EXPO 2004 is a FREE career information fair held at Forest View Educational Center (in the Field House), 2121 S. Goebbert Road, Arlington Heights on Tuesday, April 19, 2005, from 6:30pm – 8:30pm.

In today’s economy, there is a need to make the right career and college decisions since the world of work, technology, and training are changing rapidly. Students can talk with representatives from more than 100 professional career areas to:

  • Explore your options and opportunities
  • Learn about today’s leading career fields and career prospects
  • Talk to professionals about a typical day on the job, salaries, education and training requirements, advancement opportunities, and more
  • Hear distinguished speaker, Maria Coons, present "Your Future Awaits – Learn to Market Yourself"
  • Investigate career shadowing with high school Career Advisors

Career EXPO 2005 will feature career information exhibitors in these categories:

  • Business, Management & Computer Technology
  • Engineering & Industrial Technology
  • Health Services
  • Human Services
  • Natural Resources

PLEASE NOTE: a “Summer Jobs for Students” Job Fair will also be held from 7:30-9:00pm at this event (in an adjoining room).
