I am in my eight year teaching at Palatine High School.  I received my B.S. at the University of Illinois (Urbana/Champaign) and my M.S. at University of  Illinois (Chicago).  I proudly say my husband, oldest son and daughter graduated from there also.                 GO Illini!   

I taught for eleven years at Rolling Meadows High School, then stayed at home to raise my family, but kept busy during this time by also being a homebound teacher for District 211 (and soccer mom, PTA volunteer, RE teacher, etc.)

I'm delighted to be back in the classroom and am involved in mentoring and math team.  I think I have a good handle on what the parents of my students are going through.  My three children have graduated from PHS (in '99, '03 & '06).

I'm still watching soccer and volleyball games, but I also try to watch my students in other sports.  Reading and crafts are my hobbies.
