Professional Biography |
|
Mr. Casbarian
graduated from the
University of
Texas at Austin with a B.S. in
Applied Learning and Development. This degree
focused on education with a
specialization in mathematics.
Upon graduation in 1996, he
worked two years as a Middle
School Mathematics teacher in
Illinois. In the summer of
1998, Mr. Casbarian was offered
a job opportunity in San Jose,
California to work as a high
school mathematics teacher and
he moved out there with his
future wife, Robin Jungmann.
After six years at
Lincoln High School, Mr.
Casbarian spent a small amount
of time as the school technology
coordinator, the mathematics
department chair, and sat on
many leadership committees for
the school. (He received a
Teacher of Excellence Award from
the Lincoln Foundation in 2003.) It
was also during this time that
Mr. Casbarian received a Masters
of Arts in Instructional
Technology at
San Jose State University.
In the summer of 2005, Mr. Casbarian was offered a position
within Township High School
District 211 and has been here
ever since. |

grandmother, aunt (Art Institute
of Chicago), mother
(District 54), father (Harper JC), brother
(Batavia),
two sisters, brother-in-law
(Long Grove), sister-in-law(Batavia), wife,
father-in-law (Palatine H.S.),
and mother-in-law are all
school teachers. |

Mr. Casbarian
graduated from James B. Conant
H.S. in 1990. |
|
Mr. Casbarian was
a Varsity Girls Volleyball Coach
for 5 years while in California. |
|
Mr. Casbarian
used to write/draw a comic strip
while in college for a local
paper. |
