Working with students on a personal level, dealing with life situations and future planning is what I was driven to do since I left high school. My interest developed from experiences in a large family, teaching kids and respecting the adults and what they offered me in my own personal educational experience. Before I became a counselor at Palatine High School I taught physical education and health at the middle school level. I became a P.E. teacher for my love of sports, recreation, and working with kids.

I am happy to have a wife of ten years named Kristen with whom I have four children; Jason (7), Carly (7), Nathan (7), and Toby (6). An interesting fact about me is that I am an identical twin and one of 16 children in my family.
