Mr. Smith started his career as a School Psychologist at Naperville North High School in 1999.  In 2002, he made the decision to tolerate a much longer commute in order to be a part of District 211 and Palatine High School.  This is a decision which he says he has never regretted.   Mr. Smith has been a part of the District’s Specialized Assessment Team which has required him to spend time in a variety of the buildings in District 211 (i.e., Conant High School, Schaumburg High School, and Hoffman Estates High School).  He even once evaluated a student at Fremd High School in the summer.  Mr. Smith believes that his wealth of inter-district experience validates his opinion that PHS is the best high school in the district.  Although some may disagree, Mr. Smith states there is no other place he would rather be than PHS.
