OPERATION: Students who are successful in completing Child Development are allowed to enroll in the Preschool Lab. Students are required to plan & develop lessons that promote social, emotional, & intellectual development. Our high school students, who perform the role of “teacher,” implement these lessons. Weekly activities include: various curricular areas & a light snack. |
Philosophy: Although each child's physical, social, emotional, & intellectual development varies widely, all children must be actively engaged with their environment in order to reach optimum levels of development. This means that their surroundings need to be safe, open, enticing, & available for children to explore & create. |
Parental InvolvementParents are free to drop in anytime! At the end of the Fall Session, there is a Holiday Party to whichall family & friends are invitedAt the end of the Spring Session, there is a Graduation Ceremony towhich all family & friends are invited |
