B386 Financial Accounting I and
B486 Managerial Accounting II
With business being one of the top choices of college majors these days, colleges of business have to be very selective with admissions. Colleges purposely set up difficult classes to determine "who belongs" from those "who do not". Accounting is usually the class that weeds many potential students out of the business major and into other areas. YOU, however, belong in business, which is why you need these classes now in high school. Take both Accounting I and II in high school and you may be eligible for college credit at William Rainey Harper College and this credit can transfer to any major university. Even if you do not want to be a college business major, everyone needs to know how to do their taxes, understand how payroll is completed, and read financial statements for the purpose of wise investments.
