| Arriving late or leaving early | Parents must call and students must report to the Attendance Office. Students may not leave the building without signing out. |
| Miss the bus | Get a ride from a parent or neighbor, walk, call a taxi, but COME TO SCHOOL. Report to the Attendance Office. |
| Appointment during school hours | Parents must call and excuse you ahead of time. Go to Attendance Office to sign out when you leave school. |
| Illness/Injury | Ask your classroom teacher for a pass to the nurse. |
| Permission to Library/Academic Tutoring Center | Ask the teacher whose assignment you working on for a pass to leave study hall. Check in with study hall teacher first. Tutoring is available from 7:50 am until 3:30 pm in the library academic center. |
| Want to join a club, team, or activity | See sponsor of club, or see Mr. Powers, activity director, in Main Office. |
| Lost books | Go to Lost and Found in the Main Office. |
| Lost clothing, valuables/articles | Go to the Attendance Office. |
| Lost ID card | Go to Attendance Office and purchase a new one. ($3 fee) |
| Problem with locker | Report problem in Main Office. |
| Hungry | Breakfast is available from 7:30 until 8:15 am in cafeteria. The cost is $1.20. Snack line is open from 7:30 am until 1:30 pm and serves donuts, bagels, juice, etc. During lunch hours you can choose a variety of items from full hot lunch to sandwiches and add-ons to a lunch you brought from home. The cost is $1.60 |
| Problems with other students and/or threats, harassment | See Officer Gonzalez, police consultant in Attendance Office. |
| Problem with teacher | Try to discuss the problem privately with the teacher. If you feel you cannot approach the teacher by yourself, see your counselor. |
