Palatine High School Databases Useful for researching countries.
(These links will only work when you are at school. To use these databases from home go to the media center website and choose from home.)

Choose the Mass Ultra edition and then combine the keywords (your country name) with a specific topic (culture or holidays etc). This database will give current articles written about the country as well as articles in reference sources.

Choose country profiles under special features on right side of screen. The country profiles provides an overview of the country with links to new articles.
 

SIRS Researcher

Choose the SIRS government reporter database then click on the country profiles on the right side of the screen to find Background Notes published by the State Department.
