3 types of sources

1. Online Encyclopedia:

Search for articles, charts, graphs and illustrations on the organ and/or cancer you are studying. Print the article(s) you find and highlight the citation(s).

2. Books:
Begin your search for books on the PHS Media Center web site. Use the book search link to locate a reference book on the cancer you are researching. Enter your keywords in the search box to find a list of books in the media center. The better your keywords; the better your search results. Print the page or write down the call number. Retrieve the book off the shelf and use the index to find the appropriate pages. Complete the reference book citation form and photocopy the pages (you may do this in the media center before school, after school, during lunch or on a pass from study hall). Please let the media staff know that you are a student in Mrs. McHugh or Mr. Shoub's Biology class to receive free copies.
