General Comments
- Ask your students to arrive in the lab before the bell rings
and stay in the lab for the entire period. Taking a
class of students through the hallways or Media Center is diruptive.
- Labs are for use by classes. They are not a
"drop-in" facility for students; there is an area in the Media Center
for "drop-in" computer use.
- In most labs, there are:
32 student workstations
2 printers
1 scanner
1 visualizer
1 teacher workstation connected to a video projector
30 student desks
Do no move the computers or monitors from their positions on the
desk; this can cause the disconnection and excessive wear and tear of
cables, connectors, and other equipment.
Report any problems to the Technology Staff.
Before Using the Lab
- Learn how to use the software you intend to use with your class.
- Look over lab guidelines and procedures. Please ask the
Technology Staff if something is unclear.

for currently available lab times.
- The availability of open time slots is subject to reservations
currently awaiting approval.
- Reservations of five or more consecutive school days must be
approved by Bob Schuetz, technology coordinator.
- Please keep multiple day and multiple period requests reasonable.
- If you need to cancel your lab reservation, please notify the
Technology Staff immediately, either via the Lab
Request Form , e-mail, or phone (x 1761).

During the Period
- No food or drinks are allowed in the lab.
