Since
beginning at Palatine High School in 1999, my responsibilities
as a School Psychologist have evolved.
While my central responsibility is to provide assessments
to students for whom an Individualized Educational Program may
be necessary, recent years have also indicated the need for
consultative services for both teachers and students in
developing and implementing interventions for students with
behavioral or academic concerns. Additionally, I also provide
direct therapeutic service for students within a group or
individual setting.
I am currently running a Girl’s Group and a Mother’s
group. I
also serve as a liaison between outside services (hospital
programs, private therapists, schools) and Palatine High School.
