Illinois Male Athlete - Jeff Farnell (New records 100 and 200 and member of winning 4x1 and 4x2)
Illinois Female Athlete - Seun Adiqun (100 Hurdle Champion, Hurdle Shuttle and 4x400 Champions)

Men: Illinois won 11 out of the 20 events.  This is the third year in a row that the Men have won 11 or more events.  Illinois Male athlete of the meet was Justin Harrison after setting a new record in the 400 (47.66) and anchoring the 4x400 (3:14.69)
Women:  Illinois had a great meet with 9 victories in the 21 events.  Illinois Female athlete of the meet, Brianna Lynn with records in the 100 (11.93) and 200 (24.47) and as a member of the victorious 4x400 (3:54.87).

Please keep in mind, we try to get everyone into one or two events before filling in a third, there will be exceptions with the relays we run depending on how it fits into the meet schedule with open races and rest times.

LINE UP AS OF (Update Friday, June 6 - 8:00 AM)

THE ORDER OF NAMES DOES NOT MEAN YOU HAVE TO RUN THAT ORDER IN THE RELAYS.  THE 4 ATHLETES CAN DISCUSS THIS SO WE HAVE AN IDEA WHEN WE MEET IN IOWA.
Our Goal is to fill open event spots with seniors who place in the top 2 (sometimes 3 if extremely close - Looking at A and AA combined) given first choice, then we look at seniors who have had the top marks in the state heading into the state meet and have shown an interest in the meet, then we begin filling relays with seniors who placed in state using prelim and final times and have contacted us prior to the state meet (again, both A and AA).  After these athletes have been given the opportunity to compete, we then begin filling the events with athletes that may not have qualified or placed at state due to whatever reason and have shown interest in the meet.  This has been the fairest way we have been able to come up with and allow as many athletes in the state a chance to compete together on one team - TEAM ILLINOIS.

We will work with you on making this line up, but we want to be fair to everyone participating.
