DIRECTIONS TO MEETS

HOME MEETS:  All Palatine home meets are at Deer Grove East Forest Preserve which is on Dundee Road 1/2 mile west of Hicks.

WHEELING: (AUG.28):  Meet is located at Heritage Park in Wheeling.  Follow Dundee Road East to Aquatic Center just before Wolf Rd.  Park in Aquatic Center lot or turn South on wolf Rd. and park at Holmes Junior High.

HINSDALE INVITATIONAL (Sept. 1):  Meet is located at Katherine Legge Park on County Line Road in Hinsdale.  Take Rt. 53-290 South to I-355 Tollway.  Exit I-355 at Maple Ave. East.  Travel on Maple for a few miles.  Maple later forks to left.  Go straight on 55th Street. (Take no left turns).  At County Line Road go South.  Park is on your left about a mile down.  Do not park on County Line Road as you will get a ticket.

SCHAUMBURG (Sept. 21):  At Hoover Elementary School 315 N. Springinsguth Road in Schaumburg.  Take Rt. 53 South to Higgins West to Meachem South to Schaumburg Rd. West Go past Schaumburg High to Springingsguth Rd. Go Right (North) to school or Roselle Rd. south to Schaumburg Rd. West Go past Schaumburg High to Springingsguth Rd. Go Right (North) to school

PEORIA (Sept. 15):  Take I-3555 South to I-55 South to I-80 West.  Stay on I-80 about an hour, then take I-180 South.  I-180 South becomes Rt. 29. Detweiller Park is on Rt. 29 just north of Peoria.

METAMORA (Oct. 6):  Take Rt. 53/290 south to I-355 south to I-55 south.  Exit I-55 near Pontiac at exit #197 - Rt. 116 west.  Stay on rt. 116 west through Metamora to west edge of town.  Turn right on Douglas.  Go 1 block and turn left on Progress.  Go 2-3 blocks to 3-way stop and turn right.  Course is  about 1/2 mile down at Black Partridge Park.  Takes about 3 hours.

GLENBARD NORTH (Oct. 16):  Meet is located at Armstrong Park in Carol Stream;  Take I-335 South to North Avenue West.  Stay on North until Gary Avenue.  Go South (left) on Gary until Hiawatha.  Go right on Hiawatha.  Turn right on Illini.  Enter park on right.

MSL Schools:
 

CONANT (Sept. 29):  Conant runs their meets at Busse Woods.  Take Rt. 53 south and exit at Higgins Rd. east.  Enter Busse Woods 1/4 mile after you pass under Rt. 53.

FREMD: They race at Deer Grove East on a course somewhat different than ours.

BARRINGTON :  At Ron Beese Park in Barrington.  Take Dundee Road west to Barrington Road north.  Turn right on Cornell which is just after the Barn Restaurant.  Cornell will lead to park.
