the answer.
- Can I bring a guest from another
school to the dance?
Yes, but please be aware of the following:
- Any student bringing a guest who does not attend PHS
must purchase tickets ahead of time. Tickets may not be
purchased at the door.
- You must fill out a guest pass at the time you purchase
your ticket with your guest’s name, address and phone
number on it.
- Guests must have an I.D. with them. A school I.D., Driver’s
License or State I.D. will be accepted. Guests 21 or older
are not allowed and also Junior High students are not allowed.
- Do I have to come with a date?
No, absolutely not. Many students prefer to come in groups of
friends, not with dates. The most important thing is to come
and have a good time!
- How do I dress for the dance?
The dance is semi-formal. Girls will usually wear nice dresses
or pantsuits and the boys will wear suits or a shirt and tie.
No jeans or gym shoes are allowed. Look sharp, but be comfortable.
A coat check will be provided for you by the V.I.P.s.
- What time is the dance and where
is it at?
The dance is from 8 PM until 11 PM in the cafeteria. Please
remember it is school policy that once you arrive at the dance,
you cannot leave and re-enter! Students must arrive by 9:30
PM through the gym entrance doors.
- How much does the dance cost?
Tickets for the dance are $20 per couple and $10 per single
when purchased ahead of time. Tickets can be purchased ahead
of time at concessions during all lunch hours Monday through
Thursday, September 27-30. Tickets are not sold the Friday
before the dance!
At the door, all couple tickets will be $25. Single tickets
will be $13
- Do we need to bring our I.D.?
If you are purchasing your ticket at the door, you must have
your PHS I.D. When buying tickets at the door, no person will
be allowed in without a PHS I.D.
- Will there be a photographer
on site to take portraits if we want?
Yes. Halterman Photographers will be available at the dance
to take pictures. Pictures must be paid for at the dance. You
have your choice of a variety of packages and price ranges.
Picture order forms are often available at ticket sales during
the week until we run out. They are also available the night
of the dance at the area set up for the photographers. Pictures
will be distributed at PHS during lunch hours a few weeks after
the dance. An announcement will be made.
- Do we need to rent a limo?
No. Limos are usually saved for Prom.
- Why have we made so many changes?
- The policy regarding guest passes and restrictions of
not selling tickets to non-PHS guests at the door are strictly
for your safety. We want to be aware of who is in our building.
- The same goes for requesting PHS students to have their
I.D. with them.
