Palatine High School Orchesis  

 Orchesis is one of Palatine High School's oldest groups. It was started in 1960, and is still active today. Senior Orchesis is a dance team that focuses on dance forms including Tap, Jazz, Ballet, Lyrical, Hip-hop, and Modern. Orchesis at Palatine is comprised of two troupes, Senior and Junior troupe. Senior Orchesis is coached by Mrs. Vosburgh, a World Geography and Psychology teacher at PHS. Junior Orchesis is coached by Mrs. Wodzien, an English teacher at PHS.  There are  tryouts for each group usually the first week of May. If you would like more information on Junior Orchesis, you can talk to Mrs. Wodzien in the English Office or Mrs. Vosburgh in the Social Studies office. Hopefully our page will give those interested in trying out for Senior Orchesis a closer look at what we do.
