Orchesis is one of Palatine High
School's oldest groups. It was  started in  1960, and is
still active today. Senior Orchesis is a dance team that focuses on dance forms
including Tap, Jazz, Ballet, Lyrical, Hip-hop, and Modern. Starting this
year, Dance Club and Orchesis have combined to become Junior and Senior
Orchesis. Senior Orchesis is coached
by Miss Erin Corbett, who is also a math teacher here at Palatine. Junior
Orchesis is coached by Miss Lisa Rocco.
There are separate tryouts for each group usually in the first week of
May. If you would like more information on Junior Orchesis, you can talk to
Miss Rocco in the Social Studies Office.
Hopefully our page will give those interested in trying out for Senior
Orchesis a closer look at what we do.
